Towards the end of May 2021, KA and I flew to Indy to go meet Sagar, JD, Aakash, Dhara, and for the very first time for KA, Aalvika (my niece). We had a great time exploring the State parks around the city and gallivanting around the Canal Walk in downtown Indianapolis.

(Left) Aalvika had been taught to make a wish using dandelions. We were soon going to run out of dandelions so KA had to warn about the dangers of using more than three dandelions and having none of your wishes come true.

(Right) The Indianapolis Zoo was loads of fun but the heat warranted a Dippin’ Dots break.

We visited two State parks while in Indy. At Mounds State Park (pictured above), we learnt of the Adena-Hopewell Indian ceremonial mounds. At Summit Lake State Park, we were scared of getting attacked by Canada Geese but had a beautiful sunset view at 9PM!
