Another Spring afternoon, Bronx - April 2021

KA and I spent another spring afternoon at the Bronx Botanical Gardens, our second home in NYC. Pictured above you can see the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory shrouded in a flowering cherry blossom frame. Pictured below was the real star of today’s show, the sea of daffodils that blanket the rolling hills of this garden every spring.

Also on exhibit, and scattered throughout the gardens, were several of Yayoi Kusama’s art works. Many of these installations and sculptures were inspired by the pumpkin form and were dotted with polka dots.
